Sign up to the 12-month course and you're in. You'll receive a welcome email and immediate access to The Potting Shed, our private community. Your Welcome Module unlocks straight away, and before the end of the month your first seed parcel and printed growing instructions will arrive at your door.
2. Follow the Monthly Modules
Each month focuses on one flower and one or two practical growing skills. Your seeds and printed instructions arrive first, then the online module unlocks — with step-by-step guidance and how-to videos to walk you through each stage of growing.

Absolutely. This course is designed for people who have never picked up a packet of flower seeds in their life. It's also perfect for those who have tried before and failed, or who simply want to properly understand what they're doing. We start at the very beginning and build real skills one at a time.

Yes — if your balcony gets 5–6 hours of sunlight a day, ideally morning light, you can grow beautifully in pots. Even students with a garden often choose to start in pots. It's a great way to begin.

Less than you think. Setting up for a new season takes one trip to Bunnings or your local garden centre. After that, around 10 minutes once a month and a few minutes each day is all you need — easily done over a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
