This limited place workshop will lead attendees through the fundamentals of natural wreath making and wreath decorating. During the workshop attendees will:

  • learn how to weave a strong wreath base from all natural raw materials

  • weave a series of wreaths for use as napkin rings and for tablescaping

  • decorate wreaths

  • learn how to make a table garland

Attendees will take home the items they create. All materials used are organic and locally grown, or forage sourced and chemical free. All materials are provided as part of workshop fee.

Wreaths and wreath making are a beautiful way to mark the passing of the seasons. Wreaths can be used in so many creative ways, and make beautiful hand made gifts.

With a focus on setting a celebratory table for Mothers’ Day, this workshop guides attendees through how to make a strong, beautiful wreath base using all natural materials, and allows attendees to experiment and create their own wreaths for table decorations. Napkins rings are a fantastic project, and allow for wreath making on a delicate and detailed scale. Wreath napkin rings bring a little natural magic to a table setting, and can be gifted to guests or repurposed as long-lasting decorations within the home.

The workshop will also demonstrate how to create a table garland.

The workshop will run as follows:

  1. Part one is a demonstrating of:

    a. natural wreath base making techniques,

    b. wreath decorating tips and

    c. construction of a table garland.

  2. Part two is hands-on, and attendees with make their own wreath bases, decorate their own wreaths and experiment with different wreath decorating methods.

Attendees may elect to make six to eight small napkin ring or candle wreaths, or a single large door-sized wreath.

The workshop will run for 3 hours in total. Wreath making workshops are our most popular and book out fast. Numbers are strictly limited.

In the event of increased restrictions resulting from Covid-19, packs will be made available for collection from Organic Feast 24 hours before the scheduled start time, and the course will be run online as a live workshop.
